"Tell your body that it is strong, tell your mind that it is strong, and have unbounded faith and hope in yourself."

- Swami  Vivekananda

Have you ever been in pain, or stressed, or experienced challenges?

Mindfulness teaches you to develop a different relationship between yourself and the things that challenge you in your life.  Learn to rely completely on your own inner resources for understanding, growing and healing.

Every day, our mind is engaged in a continuous internal dialogue where the meaning and emotional associations of one thought triggers the next.

Our mind spins stories ranging from our home to workplace and everything in between. Quite often we are not even conscious of the internal dialogue unfolding in our mind and yet, it is the greatest source of stress in our lives.

The mind has a negativity bias, a tendency to pay more attention to negative experiences than to positive ones.

Mindfulness and Meditation is one of the best tools we have to counter the brain’s negativity bias, release stress, foster positive experiences and intentions, and enjoy the peace of present moment awareness.

Having a regular meditation practice produces substantial benefits for mental and physical health, including:

  • Decrease blood pressure and hypertension

  • Lower cholesterol levels

  • Reduce production of “stress hormones”

  • Improve immune function

  • Manage chronic pain

  • Decrease anxiety, depression, fear, grief, stress, trauma, and insomnia

  • Improve memory and attention

  • Change bad habits and develop a positive attitude

How Mindfulness and Meditation works:

Our mind connects us with the world outside. As we interact with the outside world, thoughts arise from our mind giving rise to feelings and emotions.

Thoughts are just thoughts, not facts. They are an expression of the mind’s wandering habits. Instead of breathing life into them, we learn to focus our attention on an anchor, like the breath, and learn to witness the thoughts with a sense of non-attachment and non-involvement.

By learning Mindfulness techniques to recognize thoughts and feelings, investigate them and gradually develop a sense of non-identification with them, we learn to overcome our old and unwanted habits. We develop a positive attitude, include acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion towards oneself and others.

Meditation is a powerful tool to reduce stress. It is a journey one takes. With a regular practice we begin to feel at ease and can make more conscious choices at home and at work. More..

"The mind is everything. What we think, we become."  - Buddha.

"We miss the real by lack of attention, and create the unreal by excess of imagination."  - Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
